In case you have not already registered, please accept this polite reminder to register here to attend.

The webinar will take place at 9.30am-10.30am on Wednesday 11 October.

AI Standards have been requested by the European Commission and are starting to be developed in CEN-CENELEC.

The JTC21 WG1 ‘Task Group on Inclusiveness’ has been established to ensure that more civil society interests are represented in the shaping of the AI standards.

The process is moving quickly and now is the time to be informed, to know what the expectations are of civil society stakeholders, to be able to make the most of this valuable opportunity and ensure that more voices are heard.

We are delighted to have 3 speakers to bring you up to speed in this 1hr webinar. We will be joined by the CEN-CENELEC JTC 21 WG1 Chair of the Task Group on Inclusiveness, the European Commission AI Policy Development & Coordination representative and ANEC’s Deputy-Director General.

This ANEC webinar will,

- provide a brief summary of the European Commission’s AI Standardisation Request (SReq),

- share the key points of interest for civil society stakeholders in CEN-CENELEC’s reply to the AI SReq,

- explain what the new ‘Task Group on Inclusiveness’ is and what it wants to achieve.

- provide a status update of the progress achieved so far and what the next concrete actions will be.

Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and exchange points of view in an interactive manner.

This webinar is organised by ANEC with the kind support of the European AI Fund.

We look forward to seeing you on 11th October.
